Gaming consoles may be a thing of past if Google’s new service catches on. Google Stadia is a streaming video game service that lets you play popular games like Assassin’s Creed across multiple platforms on existing desktops, laptops, TVs and phones. This is possible because the games run on Google’s own high-end hardware, users no longer need expensive computer systems to play. With the power of Google systems behind it, the service will provide game resolutions up to 4k 60fps at launch and 8K resolutions in the future.
To go along with Google Stadia, Google has release there own game controller that features two unique buttons. The first is a capture button that allows you to record and save your gameplay to Youtube. The second is the Google Assistant button that gives you help with game features provided by the game developers. Check out the video below to find out more.
